Raspanti fourth best GK in D-III

After its record-setting 17-1-2 season that featured an Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference Championship and NCAA Tournament appearance, the Penn State Altoona women's soccer team and three of its players finished the 2008 campaign ranked in the final NCAA Division III statistics.
Goalkeeper Lindsay Raspanti, a Pennsbury High School alum from Fairless Hills, then just a freshman, was the fourth best keeper in the nation in goals against average, boasting a stingy 0.35 GAA. She also was 14th in Division III in save percentage at .884. For the season, Raspanti allowed only five goals in nearly 1,300 minutes of action, made 38 saves, and pitched seven shutouts.
Freshman standout Emily Reimold, who set new single-season records for goals (19) and points (45), finished 39th in goals and 32nd in points. She averaged 2.25 points per game and just under one goal per contest.
Classmate Helena Tinnyo notched 11 assists on the year, ranking her sixth in the country at 0.73 assists per game.
As a team, the Lions were 46th in scoring offense (2.85 goals per game), third in goals against average (.336), sixth in shutout percentage (.70), fourth in win-loss percentage (.900) and sixth in save percentage (.887).
